Catching up...

I haven't uploaded the photos from the last few fancy dress socials....so here's a little catch-up for you...

GEEKS (16.11.11)

Me with the captain of the rugby team, Joel.

 ANIMALS (30.11.11)

Making my outfit, which I didn't wear in the end....

Leopard and Zebra

Kayleigh's Make-up was amazing,
her friend Beth did it for her...she's incredibly talented!!

Horsing Around

Back before Christmas we had a Christmas Gymkana...basically an opportunity to have a bit of fun on horseback. We were in two teams....I mean, mine happened to win but it's not all about that......................is it?

Me & Kayleigh with our horse Skibu (WINNERS!)

Granny Chic.

The latest theme for our Equestrian Team Social was "Grannies"...something which is a bit different but rather comical.

My outfit pretty much all came from Hepwrights Vintage on Bedford Place, Southampton. A darling vintage shop which my lovely friend Catherine owns.

The only things I added myself was the cardigan, headscarf and belt. Mainly just because I already had a huge selection of those items at home.

Grannies CAN drink Sex on the Beach....

The group - great collective effort on the outfits!

Kayleigh (Edna) demonstrating my vintage stockings!

Having much fun...
xx

p.s I actually really loved my outfit and wish I could get away with wearing it more often ;)

Team Christmas Meal...

This year it was my "job" to organise the Christmas Meal for the Equestrian Team. Here are a couple pictures from the evening, which was on the 14th December...

Buffet Dinner + free wine (a benefit of getting on
well with the manager of the pub!)

Lucy & I...with my diamante eyelashes...who'd have thought
they were only £1 from Primark. I bought them ages ago,
with no idea of when I would wear them..this seemed the
ideal opportunity!!

Full Length shot of our outfits.

Mine (right): Dress £32 West One,
Silver Sequin Shrug: Ebay (too long ago to remember the price)
Tights £4.99 New Look
Earrings £10 (ish) New Look

Socials.

So far this year (University year, which started in Oct) we've had quite a few opportunities for fancy dress socials. Dressing up is something I have always enjoyed, always going to alot of effort with my costumes. This is something I share in common with my friend Lucy. I suppose being on a fashion course helps but still, we just love organising our outfits.

Here's some pictures from the fancy dress socials we've had so far:
